BYLINE BANK TEXT BANKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS ADDENDUM
This Byline Bank Text Banking Terms and Conditions Addendum (“Terms and Conditions” or “Addendum“) is provided to you by Byline Bank and governs your use of our Text Banking Service (“Text Banking” or “the Service”). This Addendum is part of and is subject to the terms of the Digital Banking Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”). Capitalized terms not otherwise defined in this Addendum have the meaning provided in the Agreement. In the event of a conflict between the terms of this Addendum and the terms of the Agreement, the terms of this Addendum shall control for purposes of this Addendum and Text Banking only.
You will be required to agree to these Terms and Conditions when you first enroll to use Text Banking. Such agreement will govern all use of Text Banking and related inquiries and transactions initiated by you through Text Banking.
By entering your mobile phone number (SMS Text Number) and clicking the checkbox to “Agree To Text Banking Terms & Conditions,” you acknowledge that you agree to these Terms and Conditions for Text Banking, and are subscribed until you cancel. To cancel, you may send STOP to 226563, reply STOP to any Text Message you receive from the Service, or contact us at the phone number listed below. YOU AGREE THAT IN THE EVENT YOU CANCEL THE RECEIPT OF TEXT MESSAGES FROM US RELATING TO TEXT BANKING, SUCH CANCELLATION APPLIES ONLY TO THE RECEIPT OF AUTODIALED TEXT MESSAGES RELATING TO TEXT BANKING THAT WE MAY PROVIDE TO YOU. SUCH CANCELLATION DOES NOT APPLY TO ANY CONSENT TO RECEIVE AUTODIALED TEXT OR VOICE MESSAGES YOU PROVIDED OR WILL PROVIDE TO BYLINE BANK IN CONNECTION WITH ANY CURRENT OR FUTURE ACCOUNTS, PRODUCTS AND/OR SERVICES OTHER THAN TEXT BANKING. If you want to opt out of receiving other text messages, please call us at (773) 244-7000. You represent that you are the owner of the Mobile Device and mobile phone number, or that you have the delegated legal authority to act on behalf of the owner of such mobile phone number you use to receive the Service, and that you are authorized to approve the applicable Carrier charges, until you cancel.
Text Banking allows you to receive certain bank account alerts through a SMS text (“Text”) message to your Mobile Device. You will receive one message per query. You may also initiate internal transfers between your deposit Accounts with Text Banking. Text Banking works with various wireless carriers (“Carriers”) but is not compatible with all Mobile Devices.
We will not be liable for any delays or failures in your receipt of any Text messages as delivery is subject to effective transmission from your Carrier and processing by your Mobile Device.

ENROLLING IN TEXT BANKING:
To enroll in Text Banking, you will need to both enable and provide nicknames for your deposit Accounts you want to access through Text Banking. You may enroll and unenroll on the account ‘Details & Settings’ page for each account. You will also need: (1) to be enrolled in Digital Banking; and (2) have a valid mobile phone number and Mobile Device that can send and receive Text messages.

TEXT BANKING COMMANDS:
BAL – provides balances for all Accounts that are enabled for Text Banking
BAL account nickname – provides the balance for the specified Account. Example: BAL acct1
HIST account nickname – provides account history for the specified Account. Example: HIST acct1
XFER account nickname1 account nickname2 amount – transfer the specified amount from Account 1 to Account 2. Example: XFER acct1 acct2 100.00
LIST – provides a list of Text Banking commands
HELP – provides a list of contact points for the Byline Bank
STOP – stops all further Text Banking text message communications and unenrolls you from Text Banking
Note, information provided will be correct at that time. Balances and transaction history may change at any time as we authorize and/or process Account transactions.
FEES: We do not charge a fee for using Text Banking. However, your Carrier’s standard data and/or messaging rates may apply to Text correspondence. Please check your mobile service agreement for details or applicable fees.
HOW TO UNENROLL FROM TEXT BANKING:
To opt-out of Text Banking, you may text STOP to 226563, reply STOP to any Text Banking text you receive, or call us at (773) 244-7000. An unsubscribe message will be sent to your number confirming the cancellation, but no more messages will be sent after that.
SECURITY; LOST OR STOLEN DEVICE; CHANGED MOBILE NUMBER:
It is extremely important that you take an active role in the prevention of any wrongful use of your Account. YOU AGREE TO FOLLOW SECURITY BEST PRACTICES for use of the Service, some of which include:
- Using a password, biometrics, or other method of locking your Mobile Device when not in use or your possession;
- Deleting text messages sent and received through the Service when you are done reviewing them;
- Disabling your Mobile Device’s Bluetooth feature when not in use;
- Downloading internet content only from sources you know are trustworthy;
- Activating Alerts to monitor Account activity.
YOU AGREE TO NOTIFY US IMMEDIATELY IF YOUR MOBILE PHONE NUMBER CHANGES OR YOUR MOBILE DEVICE IS LOST OR STOLEN. If we are not notified, then the Service will continue to be enrolled with the incorrect number or the missing Mobile Device. Also, if your mobile phone number changes, you will not be able to use any of the features of the Service with the new number until the number has been updated in Digital Banking.
TEXT BANKING TRANSFER LIMITS
We do not limit the number of Internal Transfers you may make through the Service.
