Our time at Square Roots
This summer, Byline was proud to be a tent sponsor at the lively Square Roots craft beer and music experience in Lincoln Square on July 13-15. Byline attendees added to the weekend’s buzz by passing out giveaways aplenty to local residents who came out to benefit Old Town School of Folk Music scholarship programs and Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce farmers markets and concerts.
Square Roots was right where we wanted to be: we love to support events in the communities where we live and work. It was great to get to say hello to branch locals who stopped by the tent during their music-filled tours of well-stocked craft beer and delicious food vendors, where local and regional breweries and restaurants were happy to refuel event-goers. Local artisans and businesses were on hand to represent Lincoln Square’s community offerings too.
The event was jam-packed with activities for attendees of all ages who could sample one of over 40 selections from the best Chicago and regional craft breweries, vibe to 70 acts including music, jams, dance and family activities, and even check out an “instrument petting zoo” at the Kids Zone.
Partnering with local neighborhood events like Square Roots is one way we can support our neighbors. Byline has a rich history of working to build up the communities it calls home and helping to bring events like this one to life is just one small way we hope to show just how much we love this town.
