Our Day at the Tinley Park Bulldogs Baseball and Softball Annual Golf Outing
This spring, Byline was proud to serve as a Hall of Fame sponsor at the Tinley Park Bulldogs Baseball and Softball Annual Golf Outing on May 18. The day, which was held at the gorgeous George W. Dunne National Golf Course in southwest suburban Oak Forest, was a benefit for Tinley Park Youth Baseball. (Fun fact and a perfect example of putting our money where our local mouths are: Byline also sponsors the League – go Bulldogs!).
For coming-up ballplayers and fans of any age, one place is the home of America’s game: Cooperstown, New York. As the song goes about another town in the state, players know that if they can make it there, they’ll make it anywhere…and this Outing aims to help send Tinley Park players to Dreams Park in 2019.
Our Tinley Park branch Byliners set up shop on the green as tournament-goers gamely chipped away for such prizes as Closest to the Pin, Longest Putt and more. There were certainly no losers on the day, though – everyone got to enjoy the satisfaction of helping to make a baseball player’s dream come true and if all else failed, they could breathe deep in the nature – the Course is a beautiful member of Forest Preserve Golf of Cook County.
To help make a young dreamer’s wishes come true close to your home, find out how Byline can partner with your cause by stopping in to say hello at a local branch, or visit our Contact Us page.
