Our Night out at Casino Royale: High Rolling for Scholarship
On Saturday, May 4th, Byline was proud to join with other local business and community leaders to support the Ivy Pearl Foundation at the third annual “Casino Royale: High Rolling for Scholarship” fundraiser at the Evanston Art Center.
Byline was honored to serve as a Silver sponsor of the event, which aimed to raise money to support college-bound students, both at Evanston Township High School and other North Shore institutions. Last year, the event brought in over $15,000, which helped to make the academic dreams of 12 local students come true, and this year the Foundation aimed to beat their own record!
Local North Shore Byliners were happy to join in the fun (all to support a great cause, of course…) and got into the spirit of the evening, which featured “Vegas-style” games, cash raffles, a silent auction and—of course—dancing to the beats of the DJ all night long.
The Ivy Pearl Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated–Delta Chi Omega Chapter. It supports the Chapters’ efforts to both provide direct service and to partner with others to lead the way in the communities where they are active, emphasizing and supporting efforts in the target areas of scholarship, health, economics, social justice, global awareness and global engagement.
