Our Outing at Tower Road Beach!
On July 18, Byline was proud to support the Winnetka Park District’s 95 Annual Water Carnival at the locally famed summer calendar landmark: Tower’s Tidal Wave Thursdays. Byline was honored to be a sponsor of the event in continuance with their ongoing support of the Park District’s events and initiatives.
We’d like to give a big Byline shout out to Branch Manager Bill Leske. Bill takes his responsibility to his community as seriously as he does of that to Byline: as a Director of the Winnetka Northfield Chamber of Commerce, Bill reminds us that being a good neighbor extends beyond being an exemplary business partner. Thanks for demonstrating how much better we can be when we’re more than just a bank: we’re a member of the community family.
Tower Road Beach is one of the North Shore community’s most beloved summer locales, featuring a perennially busy children’s playground, sandy beach and even a winding staircase, which is a popular location for early-morning exercise bootcamps!
On this particular summer evening, the Park District’s talented Chef Phil was kept hopping, preparing the night’s special: buffalo chicken sandwiches as well as marinated chicken, burgers, and hot dogs. Once fueled with their al fresco dinner, beachcombers could participate in the annual, fiercely fought family sandcastle-building competition.
Byline appreciates family-based traditions like the Water Carnival that, like us, go way, way back. For more than 100 years, Byline has been a key partner in the communities where our people live and work. Through sponsorships like this one, we continue to celebrate all of Chicagoland’s neighborhoods and offer support to local and community business leaders in their efforts to engage local residents.
