We Love this Town!
On Thursday, October 3, Byline joined with other Chicagoland businesses and community and civic leaders to support AgeOptions’ 15th Annual Networking Reception and Silent Auction: Celebrating Connections. The event, which was dedicated to raising awareness and support for the growing and diverse aging population of suburban Cook County, was held in the Crystal Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Chicago and included networking with more than 300 guests, food and music by Chicago Diamond Trio.
NBC5 consumer investigative reporter Lisa Parker and Robert Boyd from Catholic Charities served as Co-Masters of Ceremonies for the night, and together the two kept excitement about coveted silent-auction items at a fever pitch and spirits high as guests mixed and mingled in the elegant ballroom, overlooking Chicago’s Loop.
AgeOptions is a non-profit that has worked to connect older adults and their caretakers with resources and service options to help them live their best lives. The agency’s mission—which hasn’t changed since its inception in 1974—is to sustain and promote independence for older persons in their own homes and communities. They do this by working with a large network of community-based senior-service organizations to connect more than 200,000 suburban Cook County residents in over 130 communities with information and assistance, community dining programs and home-delivered meals, housekeeping help, employment services, access to benefits and support for family caregivers.
We understand AgeOptions’ commitment to community engagement. Byline has been proud to be a trusted partner in the Chicagoland neighborhoods that we’ve called home for over 100 years. We are honored to serve where our patrons also live, work and play right alongside us. We know that it’s in all our best interests to keep our unique and varied communities thriving. We wouldn’t have it any other way: we’re just where we want to be.
