We Love This Town
On Friday, October 18, Byline joined with Chicagoland civic and community leaders to support New Moms as sponsors of the 2019 New Moms Gala. The evening, which included a silent auction, paddle raise, New Moms presentation and live music as well as dinner and drinks, was held at Morgan Manufacturing in the city’s vibrant West Loop.
The annual gala is the main fundraising event for New Moms, and proceeds go to help fund the organization’s remit: to ensure young moms can find safe and stable housing, a path to employment, and tools to develop strong parenting skills. New Moms does all this because of its mission: to surround young moms and their children with everything they need to transform their lives. They put their mission into practice by challenging accepted or systemic barriers inhibiting success, providing support and services that help stabilize families right now and alleviating the effects of toxic stress.
We understand New Moms’ commitment and we approve of their mission. Byline has been proud to be a trusted partner in the Chicagoland neighborhoods that we’ve called home for over 100 years. We are honored to serve where our patrons also live, work and play right alongside us. We know that it’s in all our best interests to keep our unique and varied communities thriving. We wouldn’t have it any other way: we’re just where we want to be.
