Byline Bank purchased $10,000 worth of gift cards over the past few months from 22 local restaurants in the Winnetka community in hopes of providing meaningful support to the restaurant industry during this difficult time. The Byline gift card program coincides with the Winnetka Takeout Challenge, a village-sponsored program to support struggling local businesses by encouraging residents and visitors to patronize them for takeout purchases.
“Local restaurants and small businesses are the heart of Winnetka’s vibrant and welcoming community,” said Bill Leske, Winnetka Branch Manager for Byline Bank. “During an exceptionally challenging time for restaurant owners, Byline Bank is so proud we’re able to show our support to these vital local businesses.”
In addition, Byline is privileged to be a part of the Winnetka community, where it has contributed more than $13,000 in sponsorships and support to the area in 2020 alone.
