The Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce (LVECC) presented Byline Bank with the 2020 “Corporate Partnership Award” on Tuesday, May 11. Last year, Byline’s Bill Shepard, Lakeview East Broadway Branch Manager, and Shanita Martha, District Manager, worked with LVECC to provide a $15,000 sponsorship of Dine Out on Broadway and Sheffield as well as $15,000 worth of gift cards to support local small businesses and restaurants.
“This past year has been extremely difficult for our business community, and Byline Bank recognized the need to step up and help our community and organization. Byline’s sponsorship of Dine Out on Broadway and Sheffield gave our restaurants a lifeline to keep their businesses operating over the 10 weeks of al fresco dining. The generosity of supporting our local businesses by purchasing local gift cards increased consumer spending and truly branded Byline as a committed local bank in our community,” said the Lakeview East Board of Directors.
