Byline Bank is pleased to announce Ken Holmstrom as Oswego Market President. A 40-year banking industry veteran, Ken has spent the last 27 years in Oswego. During that time he served as Executive Vice President of the Oswego Community Bank for 19 years before it was purchased by the Metropolitan Bank Group, which later became Byline Bank.
“Coming back to this office of Byline Bank is like coming home,” said Holmstrom. “I’m excited to continue to deepen Byline’s relationships in the Oswego area, bring my deep knowledge of the community’s business and civic institutions and cultural traditions to the bank, and deliver excellent service to our Oswego neighbors.”
Ken is an active Oswego civic leader. He currently serves as a Trustee and Treasurer for the Oswego Fire Protection District, Trustee for the Fire Pension Fund, Clerk for the Oswego Township and Board member for the Oswego Heritage Association. His past involvement includes serving on the Oswegoland Park District Board of Directors and the Board of the Conservation Foundation for Kendall, Kane, Will, DuPage and Cook Counties, Village of Oswego Planning and Zoning Board member, and holding the position of treasurer of the Oswego Optimist Club.
He has lived in Oswego for the past 27 years where he and his wife raised a family and now enjoy spending time with two young grandchildren who live in a nearby town.
