Byline Bank is pleased to announce the hiring of Angelique Gerlock as Director of Talent Management and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). In this newly created role, Gerlock will be responsible for the development and execution of all talent management strategies, including succession planning, performance management, employee engagement, career development, culture, and employee recognition, in addition to overseeing the DEI strategy of the Bank. Gerlock reports to Dana Traci, Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer.
“Angelique will be charged with improving the employee experience through new talent programs and DEI strategies that effectively engage and develop our workforce,” said Traci. “Her role will be instrumental in positioning Byline Bank and our people – our greatest asset – for future success.”

Most recently, she was vice president of HR at Patrick Engineering and previously held a variety of talent management, development, training, strategic planning, and retail banking roles during her nearly 20-year career at First Midwest Bank.
“As a true community bank, Byline has always valued the rich diversity of the neighborhoods where we do business, as well as to create a welcoming culture of inclusion for our employees, partners and customers,” said Gerlock. “I’m eager to help foster this at every level of the Bank and to empower our employees to excel.”
Gerlock holds a bachelors’ degree in Communications, Journalism and Related Programs and Master of Business Administration in HR Management, both from University of St. Francis in Illinois.
