This year we’re partnering with our Business Banking customers to support the independent organizations that make our communities thrive. As Illinois’ top Small Business Administration lender, we’re committed to investing in our communities and partnering with local small- and medium-sized businesses to help them access the working capital they need to grow and succeed.
“At Byline, we believe small businesses contribute to the vitality and future sustainability of our communities,” said Stephen Ball, Senior Vice President and Head of Business Banking at Byline Bank. “Right now, small businesses are challenged by inflation, the staffing and labor crisis, and reduced foot traffic due to changing consumer habits. They are still very much in need of our support.”
Throughout the month of November, Byline Bank branch managers have been supporting local restaurants and retailers in their community by purchasing nearly 1,000 gift cards to local businesses. In the weeks leading up to Small Business Saturday, we are giving away bright orange “Shop Local. Eat Local.” t-shirts throughout the community to help create visibility for small businesses and increase engagement in Small Business Saturday activities. Anyone who visits a local Byline branch and brings a picture of themselves wearing the t-shirt on social media, tagging #BylineBank, will receive a $5 gift card to spend at local businesses (while supplies last).
