Byline Sponsor Finance (BSF) announced it has provided financing to support Sdii Global Holding Corporation (SDII) , a forensic engineering and consulting company supporting property and casualty claim resolution backed by Kian Capital, in its acquisition of Roar Engineering, Inc.

BSF, a division of Byline Bank, was represented by Duane Morris, LLP.

Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, Roar is a leading Canadian multidisciplinary forensic engineering firm providing comprehensive investigations and reports to help clients successfully navigate property and casualty insurance claims and disputes.

SDII seeks to leverage Roar’s expertise in its structural engineering and fire investigation service lines along with its unmatched Canadian brand equity to expand both the breadth and depth of its geographic presence and service offerings, respectively. Roar will also add new solutions for the automobile and marine sectors of the property and casualty industry to the combined platform.

“Byline Sponsor Finance is excited to partner with Kian Capital and SDII in another strong investment opportunity,” said Sunay Salievski, Director of Byline Sponsor Finance. “Roar adds scale, diversification and unique capabilities that complement SDII extremely well.”
