Joe Schaffer joined the Byline Bank Sponsor Finance group in 2024, supporting cash flow lending for private equity led buyouts, recapitalizations and add-on acquisitions in the lower-middle market.

Prior to joining the team, Joe was a Credit Analyst at Byline where he assisted in underwriting senior secured loans for Byline’s commercial and industrial and commercial real estate teams. Joe is a graduate of Indiana University.
