Our Night at Lincoln Park Uncorked: An Armitage-Halsted Wine Stroll
On May 9th, Byline joined with local businesses to support the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce (LPCC) as a sponsor of the annual Wine Stroll. Hundreds of wine lovers joined branch Byliners and community leaders to enjoy sipping and strolling on a spring evening in one of Chicago’s iconic neighborhood stretches.
The event, which has rapidly become a marker of the warm days we so love to celebrate (they can seem so fleeting in Chicago, after all…), took place on a short stretch of one of Lincoln Park’s best-known areas along Armitage and Halsted and local businesses opened their doors to jovial partakers—just like we always imagined urban block parties to be.
The LPCC has been an active promoter of their community since 1947, working tirelessly to promote and maintain the neighborhood, its businesses and resources for its many families. Part of its mission is to support an area “where businesses and neighbors know and support each other,” and events like Lincoln Park Uncorked truly brought that vision home (no pun intended) to attendees—whether they walked or Ubered home later that evening.
At Byline, we understand this commitment to community engagement. Byline has been proud to be a trusted partner in the Chicagoland neighborhoods that we’ve called home for over 100 years. We are honored to serve where our patrons also live, work and play right alongside us. We know that it’s in all our best interests to keep our unique and varied communities thriving. We wouldn’t have it any other way. We love this town.
