Our Time at the 2020 Have-a-Heart Gala
On Saturday, February 29, Byline was proud to join with local Chicagoland civic and community leaders as a sponsor of the 22nd annual Housing Forward Have-a-Heart Gala. This year, the event was held at the Aon Grand Ballroom on Navy Pier, with celebrity guest host, Chicago actor, comedian and beloved “Parks and Recreation” actor Jim O’Heir.
The gala, which raised over $221,000 in 2019, aimed to smash that record this year, with all proceeds going to support the agency’s mission of transforming lives. To date, Housing Forward has helped close to 17,000 people who are either at risk of being, or who are already dealing with, homelessness. The evening is also a celebration of the positive community support that has already helped thousands of people achieve housing stability.
Byline takes the work Housing Forward does to better the lives of people in west Cook County very seriously—we know that their tireless efforts help to make our town a great place to be, and we agree with their mission.
