Bringing healthy meals and a little bit of happiness to our most at-risk neighbors
On Friday, May 1, Byline was proud to support Meals on Wheels Northeastern Illinois in their efforts to serve the at-risk senior citizen 
population. While the organization’s galas usually take place in person, this year’s gala took place online in the form of a virtual fundraiser with guest speaker and hunger advocate Robert Egger.
Meals on Wheels Northeastern Illinois is finishing construction of its new headquarters and food production facility, with the goal of delivering fresh, healthy and delicious meals to even more clients. The current global pandemic has shown us just how crucial organizations like Meals on Wheels are to supporting at-risk populations during difficult times like these.
For more than 100 years, Byline has been honored to serve our local residents, in the neighborhoods where we live, work and play. And when we think about the people living in the communities that these types of events help in particular, we’re truly proud that we can add something positive and give back to the people who truly inspire us. It’s like we always say: we love this town.
