A Snapshot of our time at Pizzamania
On Tuesday, February 25, Byline was honored to partner with Shore Community Services as a sponsor of Pizzamania in Evanston on Chicago’s North Shore. The annual event was hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Evanston at Gigio’s Pizzeria. Pizzamania is a true Evanston tradition: it’s been hosted by the city’s Kiwanis Club for over 30 years, in its oldest pizza restaurant!
Shore Community Services has been serving its mission to improve the quality of life for individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities through educational, residential, vocational and other related programs, since 1949. It’s grown a bit since the early days, when founders Thomas and Lois Lloyd offered up their own basement as a base for local families dealing with issues related to mental and physical challenges. Now, over 400 individuals in the community receive regular help and support from the organization.
For more than 100 years, Byline has been a fixture of the neighborhoods where we live, work and play. We take our responsibility to our neighborhoods very seriously. It’s an honor to be a trusted bank where we live and work, and we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to give back our own time and talents to the people around us who keep their neighborhoods strong and vibrant. We’re just where we want to be.
