Our Night at the Tails in Bloom Gala
On April 6, Byline was proud to join with community leaders and animal lovers from across Chicago’s North Shore as a Gold Sponsor for the Evanston Animal Shelter Association’s (EASA) Fourth Annual Tails in Bloom Gala at the Jewish Reconstructionist Congregation.
EASA is a committed no-kill shelter and accepts any homeless cat or dog that arrives at its facility from the community, including special-needs and special-health animals. Their mission, which they’ve definitely chosen to accept, is to provide each animal with the medical care, socialization, and rehabilitation they need to become treasured family members and enjoy the lives they deserve.
At Byline, we like to think that we go the extra mile for our valued customers. At EASA, they definitely do: some of their other initiatives include housing and caring for pets whose owners do not want to abandon them, but are facing temporary hardship; providing food and supplies to ensure that senior citizens and vulnerable populations are able to keep their wanted pets; and a host of youth outreach programs to teach the next generation about compassionate animal care and why preventing pet overpopulation is so important.
For more than 100 years, we’ve been honored to build real relationships with the people (and their beloved animals) in the neighborhoods where we live, work and play, and we intend to take an active part in helping to develop the next generation of our city’s leaders.
We’re proud to be able to add something positive to the lives of people who truly inspire us. It’s like we always say: we love this town.
