Celebrating Pride Month and Our LGBTQ+ Employees

Here at Byline Bank, we believe in creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment where every employee can be their authentic self. In celebration of Pride Month, our Director of Learning and Development, Aideen Shea, shared her journey toward being out in her professional life.

As a member of Byline’s LGBTQ+ employee resource group (ERG), Aideen says she wishes she would have had access to an ERG earlier in her career, when it wasn’t always possible to be fully herself in a previous workplace. She says, “This LGBTQ ERG is important to me because it allows me to be my full integrated self at work.”
