Byline Bank has created a specialized Operations, Technology, and Digital Banking Group, led by Nicolas Mando, Senior Vice President, Chief Technology and Operations officer, reporting directly to Alberto Paracchini, President and CEO of Byline Bank, and joined by Michael Yohanan, Vice President, Digital Banking Strategy. The team is responsible for digital banking product development and rollout, facilitating strategic partnerships with financial technology firms, and executing related strategic and operational initiatives.

About Nicolas Mando
Nick draws from more than 30 years of experience in technology and operations as Byline’s Chief Technology & Operations Office. Prior to joining Byline in 2019, he held executive roles at Bridgeview Bank, Banco Popular North America and MB Financial Bank.
Nick earned his B.S. degree from Northeastern Illinois University, Graduate School of Banking degree from Emory University and his BAI Graduate School of Banking in Operations and Payments degree from Vanderbilt University.
About Michael Yohanan
In his role with the Digital Strategy team, Michael manages the bank’s digital optimization and transformation priorities for external and internal channels to identify new projects and enhancements that expand revenue, increase operational efficiency, and improve customer experience.
Michael joined the bank in 2019 following Byline’s acquisition of First Bank & Trust (FB&T) where he had spent 6 years, most recently as Vice President, Marketing Director. Throughout the merger of FB&T into Byline, Michael assisted in the integration of the two bank’s brands, marketing, and digital applications. Following the integration, Michael spent two years as Product Marketing Manager for Byline where he also assisted in the bank’s Digital Marketing efforts. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and recently completed Kellogg Executive Education’s Product Strategy certification program.
