We Support Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce
On Sunday, October 27, Byline was proud to “treat” ourselves to a day out at Nettlehorst School, when we joined with Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce and other local businesses and civic leaders in lending our support to the annual Halloween Hoopla.
The Hoopla, which is held in the back lot of Lakeview’s beloved Nettlehorst School, is a safe and family-friendly trick-or-treat extravaganza, which is hosted by local Lakeview businesses. Participants set up their wares all along the Broadway lot, as pint-sized ghosts and goblins filled their goodie bags with candy and treats.
Not to be upstaged by the sugary goodness, the Chamber organized Halloween bags (hey, if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em!), hayrides, arts and crafts, face painters, balloonists, games and photos and teeny revelers packed the area for hours.
We take our support of Lakeview, the Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce, Nettlehorst School and other local organizations very seriously—we know that their tireless efforts make our town a great place to be, and we agree with their mission.
Byline has been a proud and integral part of Chicagoland for over 100 years, and we take our responsibility to our neighborhoods very seriously. It’s an honor to be a trusted bank where we live and work, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to give back our own time and talents to the people around us who keep their neighborhoods strong and vibrant. We’re just where we want to be.
