USDA funding for renewable energy systems and efficiency improvements.
With REAP financing, small businesses in eligible rural areas can purchase, install and construct renewable energy systems and improvements. Both loans and grants are available and offer:
- Loan guarantees for up to 75% of total eligible project costs
- Grants for up to 25% of total eligible project costs
- Combined grant and loan guarantee funding up to 75% of total eligible project costs
- Loan amounts from $1 million to $25 million
- Loan terms up to 30 years for real estate and up to 15 years for machinery and equipment
- Grant amounts from $1,500 to $500,000
