Thomas Abraham is the President of Byline Bank’s Small Business Capital, a position he has held since 2019. He is responsible for executing the bank’s strategic vision, ensuring that entrepreneurs have access to the capital they need to grow and succeed.

Under Mr. Abraham’s leadership, Byline Bank’s Small Business Capital division has expanded its national market presence, strengthening relationships with business owners, referral sources, and industry partners. His expertise spans credit oversight, risk management, and operational efficiency—ensuring compliance with regulations while leveraging technology to enhance loan originations and streamline internal operations.

Mr. Abraham joined Byline Bank in 2016 through its acquisition of Ridgestone Bank, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the institution’s small business lending platform. At Ridgestone Bank, he served in various capacities and grew the bank’s government-guaranteed lending capabilities from 2007 to 2016. His leadership helped position Ridgestone as a nationally recognized lender in this space. Mr. Abraham has also held roles at Banco Popular North America and Sanwa Business Credit Corporation, gaining extensive banking experience in operations, credit, and originations. He holds a bachelor’s degree from DePaul University.
