In 10 years of working exclusively in government-guaranteed lending with Byline Bank, Tom Lyons has closed over 115 deals for a total of $183 million. Prior to joining Byline, Lyons spent 6 ½ years working for a de novo bank in the Madison, WI area. Alongside conventional business lending, Tom launched the company’s SBA program, and within the year the company became the area’s leading SBA lender.

Lyons has a BA in Economics & Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. When he is not trying to save the world one SBA loan at a time, he enjoys gardening, ancestry research, and improving on his basketball officiating. A live wire who likes pina coladas and getting caught in the rain, Lyons lives near Madison, WI with his wife and four children.
